Shallow M5.1 Earthquake Strikes Tibetan Plateau Near Site of Past Major Temblors
A shallow magnitude 5.1 earthquake struck 296 km NW of Nagqu, China, at just 10km depth, occurring within 200km of three past magnitude-6 events that have rattled the Tibetan Plateau since 1986.
